The Nitecore NU20 Classic is an ultra-lightweight headlamp designed for outdoor enthusiasts. This latest release revisits the original NU20 design from 2016 and its successor, the NU25, which debuted in 2017. Both models set new standards in lightweight professional headlamps, garnering widespread praise from outdoor enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. The NU20 Classic continues this legacy, blending its iconic design with cutting-edge advancements in LED technology, including an ultra-high efficiency (UHE) LED for enhanced performance.

Weighing in at just 38g (1.34 oz), the NU20 Classic is crafted from lightweight PC materials with a highly reflective yet virtually weightless headband, ensuring maximum comfort during extended outdoor use. Its design emphasizes minimal weight for an ultra-comfortable, barely-there experience, ideal for trekking, hiking, or other outdoor pursuits.

One of the standout features of the NU20 Classic is its new UHE LED, boasting a 16.6% improvement in luminous efficiency over the XP-G2 LED used in the NU25. This innovation delivers up to 360 lumens with a beam range of 109 meters, a 35% increase in range compared to its predecessor. The NU20 Classic is designed with user comfort in mind, offering soft, smooth lighting transitions that are gentle on the eyes, even during prolonged use. The addition of a USB-C charging port addresses user feedback by replacing the older Micro-USB port. The internal 500mAh Li-ion battery provides 5 hours of runtime at 200 lumens.

Additional features include a high CRI (CRI≥90) auxiliary white light and an auxiliary red light, along with the familiar dual-button interface from the NU25. The NU20 Classic is also built to withstand rugged conditions, offering IP66-rated dust and water resistance, along with 1-meter drop protection.
